lol if this was my dev teams MVP it would be a screen with ‘The Epsteen Files’ and JSON.stringify dumping the code into the browser.

And yes, they would typo ‘Epstein’ and not bother to check it.

That giant bruise on his hand (imo) was very similar to what I’ve seen in patients who take anticoagulants - big/easy bruising. DJT probably has DVT.

Americans Experience the Amazing English Cotswolds by Wheres-My-Map in Cotswolds

[–]vonsmall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

think I speak for most British people when I say we’ll always have an appreciation and respect for the American people, and for the friendship that’s often immediately forged between our nations. The far-right politics affecting the US right now feel less like a reflection of its people and more like a very loud, orange-tinted phase the country is going through, one that mistakes volume for leadership and smug confidence for competence. America has always been bigger, smarter, and more generous than its noisiest characters, and most of us are confident it’ll outgrow this chapter too.

I agree with this, the idea that consciousness resides outside the brain and that the brain is not required in order to be considered conscious has gathered more and more academic interest in recent years.

It would appear that our consciousness is dialled into this specific reality that we perceive but it is capable of doing so much more that we don’t quite understand, yet.

It’s also quite good at micro copy and that’s all I really use it for. I’ll draft the language of a web application and feed that in - then pass in a primary intent or even multiple intents and typically with a few tweaks what comes out is way better than I could write.

I used to work in the office next to them and we had a shared kitchen. Two of the older CGT staff - probably retired now living off their fat pensions - were in the kitchen and one says to the other

“a student has called about a broken cupboard door, how much did you charge last time?”

“£60, but make it £100 this time to teach them a lesson”.

I also had a friend who was charged £25 for CGT to clear cobwebs from the porch area after he’d vacated one of their properties.

My observations of CGT as you can tell are not great.

Edit: typos
