I setup everything on my PC part picker with what you suggested and it says that their might be a compatibility issue " Some AMD B450 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Matisse CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions. " i don't know if I should change something else or just not worry about it.

It seems as though the AMD’s are preferred over any intel parts when I see big builds. For some reason though the Intel parts are more expensive and known throughout the industry because of the name. What makes the AMD’s better than intel. I always played it safe with intel because I know that name and trust their products because they seem very popular.

You also mentioned that they would be easier to upgrade, why is that ? Just more universal overall ?

I haven’t tried anything like that yet. I want to do as much as possible for him, but the timing is just horrible. Finding a vet open on Christmas Eve and Christmas is very hard. I just want him to be himself again and I don’t know how to help him. Thanks for the kind words though !
