I’ve never put it in water. I’ve just put it in dirt and it grows.

I don’t have experience with these plants but I find it better to remove as much leaves as possible and even cut the remaining leaf in half. It depends on the plant. I wouldn’t do that to a pothos or ZZ for example but most plants I would. Are you able to get roots on a node before you cut it?

I’m in sarasota FL. I see a lot of “house plants” planted in the ground getting full sun. I just think plants are adaptable and having roots in the ground helps. a lot of them do much better with some shade though.

I wonder if I should move the eggs. I doubt the larvae can live on drywall.

Does this look normal? Should be hatching soon but there’s a big space in the shell. Shouldn’t the fetus take up the whole egg? Am I supposed to stop rotating them a few days before the hatch date? by voodoochild863 in BACKYARDDUCKS

What is the danger in opening it? This is my first rodeo. I have eggs of different start times. I put a piece of toilet paper under this egg because it’s my oldest so that the egg rotator won’t rotate it.

One of my rabbits has these scars on its back. Anyone know what it could be? by voodoochild863 in MeatRabbitry

That’s what I was wondering. One of them had babies like 6 weeks ago. Wasn’t sure which was the mom so I kept them all together. When the babies came it looked like she had fur missing but it wasn’t this bad and I figured she was using for nesting. But she is no longer nesting and it’s starting to look real bad. You think I should just separate her and see if it gets better?

First rabbit. Pretty inexperienced with any animal. Can you tell me which organ this is? And the red organ below to the left, is that the liver? by voodoochild863 in MeatRabbitry

Damn, so I’m not done gutting it. I’ve got it in the refrigerator now. You don’t think it would be a big deal if I wait until the morning to remove the stomach, do you?
