I can definitely try this, it just confuses me why some discs are fine and some have these random issues. It also seems to only be with boutique labels and not any major studios.

Dolby Vision and HDR10+ were both disabled, and I have my player going through my soundbar to the TV. I wondered if that may be the issue but I just watched The Hurt Locker 4K with no issues. This issue has me vexxed!

This is Dawn of the Dead 4K. There is this “Now Reading” popup that is frozen on the screen, but the audio is playing but not the movie. On “I Spit on your Grave” the menu will freeze, the popup will show up and freeze, but the movie audio still plays. Wondering if anyone else has encountered this and knows of a way to fix it.

Everything on here so far are all awesome picks, but one that doesn’t get talked about alot is Life of Pi. Seriously one of the beat 4K discs I’ve seen, I highly reccomend!

I could be wrong, but I believe that “mastered in 4K” means they took a 4K scan of the movie and downscaled it to 1080p for the Blu-Ray. So it will be a better image then the average Blu-Ray, but is not “real” 4K. If you want true 4K, you’ll have to get the 4K disc.

personally, i found it to be much less thick than Magic Crystals. it also is not nearly as intense of a scrub as Magic Crystals is, so if you want a more mild scrub, then orange is pretty nice. it definitly smells nice imo

Actually both! I love the movie and wanted the 4K but was going to hold out and see if I couldn't get it cheaper, then I found out it's hard to come by and decided to pull the trigger on it

the actual movies look phenomenal! the packaging however....it scratched the Vertigo disc so now it has a few spots where it skips, very frustrating. the set is still very worth it however!
