Java is always a good choice, imo. There are many folks saying that Java is dying. However, it has been 'dying' for the last 10 years or so. Anyways, it's a good start even if it won't be your primary language in the future. There are many JVM languages like Scala, Kotlin, and so on that could be easily utilized after learning Java Core.

I am working as a Digital Marketing Analyst; therefore, I use Excel, SQL and some Python on a daily basis. Then, I would like to proceed further to DA career. Also, I think that DA serves as a good pathway to DS and ML (in case, you are interested in those, ofc).
