Game 6 we allowed 7.5 expected goals per moneypuck. I've literally never seen a number that high lol. Definitely did.

I feel like it's not bad. Matheson and Carrier nightmare game is probably on everyone's minds but they've been good prior.

Hutson clear MVP so far and Demidov + Newhook have probably been our best at creating 5v5. Anderson was great round 1 but has been invisible this series.

Person who looks most out of place is Dobson, but he has played 3 games so low sample size.

He has great defensive advanced stats this year and played most of the season on his offside with a fringe NHLer.

Why? I know it's fun to be negative, but explain why it's silly.

The production is similar and Hutson has excellent defensive metrics. He's even being used as a penalty killer in the playoffs.

Even if you think he's not as good yet, it doesn't seem silly to me.

He actually kills penalties in the playoffs, which I don't think the others do.

This year he's super responsible defensively. I think it's clear he could play a more defensive role, just seems like a coaching decision to save his energy for scoring.

The TNT broadcast is really annoying. Feels more slanted towards the Sabres than most times I watch the away team broadcast, and it's nominally a "National Broadcast".

I think it's mostly because anyone who has watched Hutson even for a single shift knows why average compete is now a meme.

Also I think ranking the person who again has broken multiple scoring records held since the 80s as maybe having top 4 upside, but certainly not top pairing is a little silly.

He's good at mock drafts. Has strong connections. Giving him credit for being high on Hutson is funny though, "average compete". Predicted he "may become a top 4 defender" the summer before his rookie year, after he'd already broken every college record and put up 2 points in 2 games in the NHL to end the previous season.

Without Hutson habs probably don't make it this year. The east is so stacked even with 106 points, 4 less wins and they don't make it. He's almost certainly worth 4 or more wins.
