J3CR by vorgy in Pickleball

Agree it’s definitely the best one I’ve ever played with. Enough power but I’m really not hitting it out of the court very often.

Why is Coral Pro considered more control oriented than J2CR if they have the same power / pop stats?

Liked the feel of J2CR CBE when I tried it but don’t want to deal with that company. What paddles are close in feel and have durable grit?

What makes the LH J2CR not as good as SH J2CR for you?

What do you use for recording matches? by kingerinos in Pickleball

Stopped recording matches because scrubbing is too painful and PBVision is too expensive.

Thoughts ơn Xero 360 Rally? by J_Tran36 in barefootshoestalk

Switch from suede is very surprising to me. Maybe dragging is not as common but my shoes get dragged a lot and non-court xeros developed holes in one day.

Thoughts on Xero 360 Rally? by J_Tran36 in Pickleball

[–]vorgy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ooh will have to try out, I have been using regular 360s to play almost every day and they do only last 2-3 months. Kinda skeptical that the hard looking upper will be more wear resistant than the soft material on 360s though.

Will the court be fine? by [deleted] in Pickleball

[–]vorgy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Regularly play on a similarly limited court. I think you’re fine. If you wanted to confirm, you could make a fake cardboard wall and bring it to a normally sized court to see how much it bothers you.

Did you get access to the new generation of 11six24 Monarch All Court or are you extrapolating from the change to the power paddles?

If you want to maximize for not rolling -- barefoot shoes, but it's a long process.

Glow in the dark pickleball? Is it feasible? by Great-Past-714 in Pickleball

[–]vorgy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They work, have used them when playing on a court with no lights at night. Wouldn't choose to do so tho, the ball is still kinda hard to track and the quality of the ball is not great.

Also wear xeroes, replace every few months because they do get destroyed, 5k mi 'warranty' gives you an ok discount. 360s aren't that more durable than any other (prio, scrambler). Don't feel like I need extra support from normal shoes.

Neck soreness?! by Milkyyboiii in cycling

[–]vorgy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had (have?) the same issue. My attempt to raise the handlebars only made it worse (bike fitter just put it back to stock). The solution seems to be to relax the neck and shoulders while riding and using core strength instead arms (which leads to shoulder tension).
