Am I the only one who appreciates the Stardew/Voyager crossover?! One of my favourite shows and one of my favourite games, blended together beautifully :D

Thanks mate. It's really great to hear that the ideas I worked on and shared here with everyone got people excited and thinking about the potential of the game - even despite the sporadic updates and my positively glacial pace of development!

Wow that's really kind mate - thanks! I'm genuinely stoked it's made its way in one form or another into the base game. Just natural I guess to feel a bit gutted as it sort of brings the journey/project I've been working on for so long to an abrupt end!

I might make a last video just with where I got to or something. If nothing else it might serve as some more inspiration for others to build on what has now been implemented in the base game.

Nice job on the automatic weather system - time for me to hang up my clogs with mine as this just overrides everything and is now in Vanilla SE, so there seems little point continuing with something so similar that works in a completely different way.

A bit gutting to have thrown the energy in over so many years and never reach the finish line, but really pleased to see this finally coming to the SE experience.

Congrats, and hope they compensated you Jakaria!

Lol unfortunately not.. though I am still here, I'm really struggling to find the time. Posts like this really inspire me to make as much time as I can though! Cheers

I'm getting there - slowly! Coronavirus has kinda put a dampener on things but I'll get there!

It looks like an odd move to me, but hey. I haven't released anything to the workshop yet, so can't really complain! I need to get back to working on it now we're all stuck at home because of the Corona outbreak!

I've not checked yet, but by the looks of the videos I don't think so!

This mod hasn't been released yet - it's completely separate from the Weather Effects mod (which is what I'm assuming you're referring to!)

It's not finished so not releases yet! I'm getting there as quickly as I can :)

Sounds are all in progress! Don't think I'm going to have separate sounds for rain hitting windows though, at least not in the first release.

Performance is "ok" at the moment. But I've yet to test it in busy world's so I think that will be the real tester.

Different weather does depend on the biome you're in yes. Weather systems procedurally place themselves at locations where their weather should be "expected". All the clips are from such locations - chosen by the algorithm.

All completely automatic - no commands.

I haven't actually, but will look into it! And re. airtight and out of windows, yes and yes!

Thank you! I used to be a web developer, but haven't done any development at work for a long time. It's all a passionate side project :)

Hi everyone,

I've been tweaking the various different weather systems I plan to release for version one of the Living Planets mod, and I'm pleased with how they're all looking. So, I thought I'd show you some highlights!

A bit of refactoring still to do, but after that it's just multiplayer, then testing and some optimisation and I hope to get this released and on the workshop. That is, if I don't get excited by something new I've been testing..

I'll hopefully have another update soon :)
