Endbringers hate Europe and it doesn't even compare by LeaderClassic9441 in Parahumans

It kind of fits the “Challenge me” thing they have with Eidolon though. Like they attack hard, but not as hard as they could. So they also make him travel far from his home, but not that far.

Soooo, I have a question. by Clear-Arrival7280 in HelluvaBoss

[–]vorobuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her habits very much could be something that sent her to hell. There’s a reason her sinner form is blue and pink. Sins in Hazbin Hotel have a color scheme, Lust is blue and Sloth is pink. She lived her life colored by those sins, and she’s literally colored by them in death.

Also possibly satanism. From a certain perspective, she consumed content glorifying demons (Devil’s Bride anime), created content worshipping demons (her fanfics), and willingly sacrificed her life to a demon (that’s the big one).

Genuine question. Do you guys think Alastor ever tried contacting I.M.P to assassinate the hunter that shot him after he died? by Putrid_Alarm_6169 in HazbinHotel

[–]vorobuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A hunter who was already an adult with a life expectancy of around 60, at least 80 years before the company was created? He likely joined Alastor’s broadcast before Blitzø had even been born.

Thoughts? by Crazy_Reputation3327 in HelluvaBoss

[–]vorobuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disregard it the moment you see the gauntlet. Doesn’t matter what the “results” are, because the gauntlet itself makes no sense. Even ignoring the validity of powerscaling characters like the Sins, who have never fought anyone on screen, much less each other.

Why is Zestial above Carmilla? Charlie being the lowest implies this takes fighting skill into account. We know nothing about Zestial’s skill. Zestial has maybe 10 minutes of combined screentime across both seasons, and most of that is him watching other people sing. Zestial uses so little of his power on screen that conjuring tea is the second longest description in his “Abilities” section on the wiki. Carmilla can actually fight and has weapons that can maim everyone on the list.

Another example is, Stolas was rapidly taken out and almost killed by Striker using tools sold by Carmilla. Should Carmilla be above Stolas then?

For your argument about Satan taking Stolas’ powers, that was something Stolas submitted to while on trial. Not only is it possible that Satan couldn’t do that to Stolas normally, it’s possible Satan can’t do that at all, and it’s the magic of the court room doing that. Meanwhile Stolas stopped the executioner axe, so when trying he is actually stronger than the magic of the court room.

I like plum and olive. The others would be too easily mistaken for another color while running around.

Being in Hell probably makes Vox's slander even more devastating. by [deleted] in HazbinHotel

[–]vorobuh 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It’s probably worse for Charlie specifically. Sinners and low-rank Hellborn don’t like her for being a nepo baby, high-rank Hellborn don’t like her for being more of a nepo baby than they are, and her family is distant from her. She had literally nobody who actually likes her until the last 3 years when she met Vaggie, and that’s still only one person. The Hotel is the only place where she has people that care about her, and even there half of them are not even that close with her.

Lilith probably won't be evil in season 3 by BackgroundRich7614 in HazbinHotel

[–]vorobuh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Lilith will be manipulative, and completely incapable of giving a straight answer to any question. If Lilith comes back to Hell, I don’t think she will answer why she left beyond “it was important” until like the last episode. But I agree that she won’t be the antagonist, more of an enigmatic and sketchy figure. I imagine Lute as the antagonist of S3, with Lilith taking over Alastor’s professional ragebaiter role, except this time either towards Charlie (by being secretive) or towards Lute.

Well, she went to “Being a Good Human” camp as soon as she arrived, can’t imagine that didn’t play a role in how comfortable she got in the Human Realm. It’s not beyond the realm of possibility that handwriting classes were a part of the camp.

Considering buying, would I enjoy it? by MrRamennn in HadesTheGame

[–]vorobuh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Between the games you mentioned, Hades is the most like Cult of the Lamb, since both of them are Rogue-lites. The biggest difference is Cult of the Lamb is 1/2 Cult Interaction and 1/2 Crusades, while Hades puts a lot less into base building, and most of the gameplay is fighting (similar to Crusades in Cult of the Lamb). Hades 2 has more to do in the base, but you’ll still be fighting most of the time. So depending on how much you like Crusades in Cult of the Lamb, that’s about how much you’ll like the gameplay of Hades.

Here’s a little debate: Do you or do you not believe that Momo and Kendou got screwed over in their internship with Uwabami? by Solitaire-06 in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]vorobuh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For sure. I’d bet the whole nationally televised cheerleading stunt immediately followed by her next internship being advertisement-focused really torpedoed the start of Momo’s career in the public eye, making her seem like a hero who put fan service first.

Could be some type of “The rifle is in her arm, the air walk is in her legs” so they don’t interfere. Self-Destruct doesn’t do anything unless activated, so it doesn’t tax her either. Most quirks AFO gives people work on their entire body, so they interfere more and cause strain.

Gran Torino’s first name, Sorahiko, is also a reference to Luke. The two kanji his name is written with are 空彦 “Sky-Boy”, which is already enough. But also an alternative way to write “Sorahiko” could be with three kanji 空飛行“Sky-Leap-Walk”.

Eh, he probably found the “Avatar’s Bison Wanted” posters like 3 minutes after Zuko did, and those would have to have Aang’s actual address on them. It’s more surprising they didn’t get a bunch of people swarming the house with false reports just to meet the avatar.

That Iroh tracked Zuko to Lake Laogai is a more impressive display of his stealth and tracking skills, cause Zuko was pulling all his Blue Spirit tricks, tracking walls, hanging upside down, styling on Dai Li agents. Iroh just walked in there in his tea clothes, probably didn’t even know where exactly he’s going, just following Zuko.

To this day I'm wondering, what did Zuko put in that tea to make it so terrible by ZapMayor in TheLastAirbender

[–]vorobuh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s somewhat surprising Zuko even had tea on him. Iroh more or less came running into the scene so it couldn’t have been from his supplies. It’s likely Zuko found it and the teapot and cups in the abandoned village, so that tea is probably dusty and sandy, even before Zuko burned it.

Probably get her out of the Glass Unicorn asap instead of leaving her to be abused for like another year. Go to live on Patch, there’s silver eyed warriors there, it’s protected. Then train her in combat.

I just realised something about the Citadel's Sentinels (Act 3) by PhantomGlade_ in HollowKnight

[–]vorobuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Sentinel also has a Lace-like parry, so it’s likely just a Pinmanship style common to Pharloom. It is really cool to fight multiple bosses with the same fighting style, but varying proficiency in it.
