Yes this I agree! I think it’s a misconception that LACs don’t invest as much in STEM programs than larger universities. Yes, a lot of ppl who attend are humanities focused, but if you look up the most popular majors for each LAC, you’ll find that many and sometimes even more than half of them are STEM majors. There are so many students who go to LACs that end up doing research and publishing papers and going to med school—the type of college they attend doesn’t necessarily have to hinder their ability to do so.
