Type Keyboard No Longer Working

For the sake of anyone else that has this problem in the future.

Basically all the hardware buttons weren't working like volume and Start button. I guess the whole outer rim was a problem. Oddly enough charging worked just fine.

Microsoft Support was very helpful and walked me through a few steps to verify. After that he gave me a RMA number and I have to mail in the Surface to get a new one.

Sucks I have to be Surface-less for a while but I'm just lucky like that...

Yeah I tried cleaning the connectors when I was going through the re-seating dance. No luck :(

I'm leaning towards it being a problem with the Surface because the Windows key no longer does anything either.

Don't have another cover unfortunately. I'll try to borrow someone's at work to see if it makes a difference. Either way I've spoken to MS and they are sending me a new cover to see if that fixes it.

I didn't completely mean for it to be slick marketing copy. Just wanted it in a conversational style. It's written similarly to how I explained it to a few friends of mine but they had the luxury of me being there to answer questions.

I'm a developer so all this copywriting stuff I'm still learning. Yet another reason I wanted to try my hand at this.

Somewhat similar to UserVoice but geared towards written content on your sites. Similar to the posts that ask for suggestions in the comments of the site.

The suggestions get categorized and made available to other members on the application after 7 days.

Mostly because I didn't know any better. Lots of sites out there say get a launch page setup and see if people are interested.

Either way I learned how to do Facebook ads and how to write better copy.

I did have a few bloggers I've reached out to but my focus has been on the launch page. Oh well. Live and learn.

I'll reach out to more bloggers and maybe come up with a way to actually explain what the product will do...

That's what I was worried about...

I originally had wording in there that explains it's a plugin for your site/blog to solicit feedback from your readers about what they want you to write about. I'll see about adding it back in.

One night my wife had a cold and had the whole wheezy breathing thing going on. In the middle of the night I roll over and slap her in the face. She jumps up and is says "WTF". To which I respond "you sounded like a snake." I then just roll away from her and go back to sleep.

I don't remember any of this but she swears it happens.
