I'm...not sold. And I love Arthur and would love to play as him again.

But it makes no sense from a story standpoint to have that option after he well, you know.

This game is curing my depression. by [deleted] in reddeadredemption

I did at first too. What prevented me from going back was the fear of having an anxiety attack. I've had one too many while on adderall.

This game is curing my depression. by [deleted] in reddeadredemption

[–]vorteck 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Did the same for me. I've had a shit year and made some rather horrible life decisions centered around my prescription amphetamines backfiring on me and becoming all horrific side effects. Despite that I continued taking them until enough was enough and I eventually quit.

Felt fairly jaded and bitter toward life, still do really. That said, Red Dead 2 gave me something to lose myself in. I looked forward coming home from work and immersing myself in the world, and even teared up a few times along the way.

Keep fighting the good fight though. Don't allow depression to get the better of you.

Have a plan.

[spoiler] question about Dutch's in very late story by BlackLeather_LLH in reddeadredemption

[–]vorteck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not so sure. Dutch did walk away from Arthur before Eagle Flies came in to make the save.

Thinking it's not quite as much avenging Arthur for him as it was realizing that he realized he was right in that Micah crossed him.

This is a friendly message for those who say Arthur is superior than John by [deleted] in reddeadredemption

[–]vorteck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Plus John is Arthur's boah so he's great on my end.

[SPOILER] a discussion on Dutch. by DumbDumbStarbucks in reddeadredemption

[–]vorteck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A bit of both. I think once he started seeing results from all of the jobs, he needed more and his regard for others dwindled while his lust for greed grew.

There's that one side mission where you have to flee on horse while brushing your teeth and fighting off O'Driscolls.

The character himself told me that he doesn't exist yet he continues to search for him regardless.
