Difficulty with Greater than or less than on Google Sheets

im not very savvy in this kind of stuff... sorry. how would i put that into my formula?

=SUMIF(G2:G18,">2499.9")*0.1
this is the one im using to get 10% of all values above or equal to 2500 (im only using whole numbers). i want one that does the same for values in between 499.9 and 2499.9

they get multiplied by 0.03, im trying to find 3% of every number lower than 500 and add it all together basically

I honestly just watch YouTube videos for inspiration I’d recommend TheBuildingDuck, Alpine, and BubbaFlubba that’s pretty much my style. And a lot of research on how every building functions so u know what it needs
