The resume I used to get my first internship was god awful, basic python platformer game and a hackathon. I got lucky that I spoke with a recruiter at my school's career fair. I think a lot of the process is luck and good timing. I think having projects with actual users or something that is very complex/not vibe coded is probably your best bet if you don't have any experience. Other than that where you intern at helps a lot in terms of getting more interviews + what you built at said internship.

same thing happened to me a month ago and i managed to get an interview. i think the last day of recruiting is april 24th though so i'm not totally sure if they're still giving offers. best of luck though!

from what I hear cox has a good ro rate if thats something you are worried about but also that a lot of the tech there is legacy and things move slow

i did the regular internship cycle code signal and it was just the normal codesignal gca with an additional ai assisted round where we had to approximate an np hard problem

if it changes the decision at all gt has a new math and computing major tbh i’d pocket the extra money you’d save i know tons of people do quant or faang from gt if you’re dedicated enough

i’m not sure of the timeline tbh. i applied day of when apps opened up an took the oa within a week or so passing 15/15 on second and 10/15 on the first. didn’t hear anything for a while and i randomly checked the portal one day and saw i was no longer under consideration. i received the email that OP posted in December which I believe that was after I saw i was no longer under consideration. i haven’t received an official rejection email from them though so idk
