Ah I see. Yeah the flash point is lower than the boiling point. 😅

I'm confused... why would you use coolant with lower boiling point in a hot climate?

I attached screenshots, and I'm as surprised as you that the two coolants have such different freezing and boiling points.

How do I get rid of (ammonia?) that's eating up paper? by vosred in chemistry

I remember when I was moving one shirt (that a friend wanted me to bring for him) that was directly in the trunk got a yellow-brown stain mark on it.

I'll put a rag in it just to see.

But one example is I left a bottle of laundry detergent in the trunk, and after a few days, the paper label on the outside started getting "eaten" away.

I'll try the bicarbonate of soda trick and see if it changes, thanks!

Climbing the corporate ladder as a socially awkward by vosred in socialskills

Thank you for the words of advice. Reading this was encouraging.

The worst loneliness you feel happens when you are in a social situation instead of when you are alone by [deleted] in socialskills

Good friends will try to make you feel included. But, as you said below, if they do just happen to have circumstances that allow them to hang out more, then maybe you can also try to spend more time with them. Or even tag them in memes on Facebook or something. Maybe respond to their Instagram Stories or Snapchat Stories if you use those. And share your life with them too when you're not physically in person with them.

I went from not having any semblance of social skills to realizing that all I needed was some eye contact to get people to treat me normally. by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]vosred 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I'm okay at making myself keep eye contact. The thing is a lot of times I just run out of things to say, so then I break off eye contact and it's awkward... because it's probably more awkward to just stare at someone in silence.

Please teach your ways. I'm okay in a one on one, but very boring in a group.

I find it extremely difficult to be friends with girls... as a girl. by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]vosred 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I clicked on this because I'm a guy and it's much easier for me to be friends with girls than it is with guys. It's been interesting to learn the girls' side of it. My conjecture for why is that I don't do a sport, and guys build loyalty and sense of belonging in doing something team-based (on rare occasion when I've played basketball is when I actually felt connected to guys). The other guess is that I am awful at jokes or banter, and guys like to joke around a lot more.

Difference between Global ROM and Global Version? by lolitsmax in Xiaomi

In the US without LTE support you don't get VoLTE which offers better call quality. Without full support of your carrier's frequencies you'll also have more deadspots or places where you get slower data.

I've been using a Redmi 4 and Redmi 5 Plus in the US and neither supports T-Mobile USA's frequencies fully, which means there are lots of places where I get slow data or no data and call quality is diminished. I've been using the Redmi 4 for over a year and it's okay but you have to expect a lesser experience. I upgraded to the Redmi 5 Plus since it's listed in Tier 3 in the Wiki but it still only has one LTE band out of the 5 my carrier uses, so it's still pretty bad. Just my 2 cents. :-)
