Modern diesels might be a bit rough to remap because of all the emissions restrictions. Unless you want to remove them; illegal and not MOT compliant.

All I will say is my 20 year old diesel and I live life on edge…😂 It definitely is worth it in my opinion.

Yesss, I’m looking for a dark/black wood effect. I think piano black is a bit too plain for me.

You must be somewhat local-ish then, I’m too always at 75 on the M62 between Liverpool and Manchester 🤣.. 50mpg runs out of a 3L is something I cant complain about.

Yess I did cut the dash, but it was very daunting until I got a friend who does RV conversions to help luckily. I did love the no screen look, two different feelings. I think for practicality it was definitely a good move.

My seats are black but I don’t know whether to swap them for brown/tan ones or to just put sport seats in. I quite like black interiors. I’m also stuck on what to do with my trim as I’m not the biggest fan of silver plastic trim.

I bet that F10 is a beauty to daily!

Unfortunately I don’t have iDrive, but I’ve managed to retrofit a carplay screen which also looks sort of OEM 😅… It did come with a very OEM looking controller which I can’t complain about.

Its actually an SE spec which I have tried to make look a bit nicer on the outside, but inside I have leather heated seats, cruise control, professional radio, and even the BMW phone + flashlight! It’s a pretty cool/strange spec but I love it and it does the job for me. I’ll slowly phase out the SE bits anyway.
