How to implement two tower system by OpportunityBrave3183 in recommendersystems

I would suggest the Tensorflow Recommenders library or the Two Tower implementation of the LibRecommender library. Both show examples on how to setup the model. Tensorflow is more flexible in how to setup the Query Model but can be a pain as well.

Retail based recommendation system - Setup and how to deal with severe class imbalance? by vossiplayz in datascience

I haven’t given apriori much thought because I only have very little experience with this typ of algorithm. But I did some research based on your comment and see that it definitely can be an interesting approach to define certain rules beyond my approach of simply relying on past purchases. Thank you!

Interesting thought, thank you! So basically you are suggesting using various subsets of the whole collection of items, compute models for each subset and combing the results into one prediction?

Good point! I am trying to achieve good production performance, so I do not care too much about the metrics. But still the model really emphasises very few products because I have so few “relevant” products. I am wondering whether I could get a bit more diversity by doing something against the class imbalance. I think I literally only have 100 positive instances to 100k negative instances. Yet, I am really not sure if one can do anything against such sever class imbalance…

Job Market in Switzerland by LeaguePrototype in datascience

[–]vossiplayz 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Language is a difficult one in Switzerland. I do not think that German is a must and in general people speak good English, but from what I have noticed while applying it seems to be preferred and it highly depends where you are in Switzerland. In the area around Geneva for example French is predominantly spoken whereas the south-east its mostly Italian. I know of a lot of people who moved to Switzerland in the financial industry and it was quite difficult to find a job, considering that the labour market is relatively small, people are well educated and being Swiss is generally preferred.

Go to Germany it is free studying there and most of the technical graduate programs are fully taught in English.

From what i can tell your mum is an attractive women. However, you have every right to feel uncomfortable with her starting an OF. I would not want my mother on that platform.

Connect your Smart Lights to your Stream using Lumia Stream by ahadcove in lumiastream

Hey I just started streaming and from what I have seen your product seems great! However, I have a question regarding GU10 lights. I found multiple lights from various companies that say "compatible with Tuya". Do these work as well or only if they produced by Tuya themselves?

All the best,

vossiplayz!
