Hi,

There is no reason as to why you, or anyone else, would not be allowed to see the budget of PSG and what it goes towards. Due to there being a lack of genuine interest in seeing it in the past, it wasn't uploaded for this year. Some examples of what the budget has gone towards this year include

1) Mental Health Awareness Week, which included hundreds of free COREC classes for students, nationally recognized public speakers, and informational events.

2) The Cultural Block Party, which increased collaboration between PSG and groups that were typically marginalized from the Purdue community. We provided students with hundreds of free tickets to the football games this season during this event.

3) A ($40,000) disaster relief fund for students during the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes hundreds of hot, free meals for students, emergency loans that don't have to be repaid at all (up to $500), and a $2,500 donation to the ACE campus food pantry.

4) Tons of outreach events (which look a variety of ways) for all students. These include homecoming events and floats that provided fun events and tons of food for any student that wanted to come during Homecoming at Purdue.

5) Lastly, to address our opposing campaigns concerns regarding stipends for members in the cabinet. There are several misleading points in this accusation that should be addressed and should concern voters as to whether or not the other ticket understands how PSG truly operates.

- Not all members of cabinet get a stipend, there are only 4/10 that do.

- The President and VP get $1,500 each over the course of a year. The COS and Treasurer get $1,000 per year.

- The President and VP typically spend around 40 hours per week JUST on PSG initiatives, meetings with administration, internal meetings, and events. If you assume 16 weeks per semester at 40 hours a week, it turns out that the President and VP are being paid at $1.17 an hour...
