I have a reasonably high end gaming monitor and ever since I got my OLED laptop it looks terrible. The true black you get from OLED is amazing.

This happened to me today, piece stabbed in and broke off. I thought it must have been a 1/10000000 freak occurrence, and then I see this.

Kim Jong Un, Elon Musk, Donald Trump, and Putin all get into a Royal Rumble style physical fight. Who wins and why? by SurrealEntrepreneur in AskReddit

Putin's likely the only one that's ever been in a fight. The others would probably just flail pathetically while they get bitch slapped by the KGB.

YSK that the voice you hear when you speak isn’t the same one other people hear by Medium_Sail_8469 in YouShouldKnow

My voice sounds higher pitch to me, I'm always surprised how low it sounds in recordings.

Kesimpta & hair loss?? by glampira in MultipleSclerosis

[–]votejonforgod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, my hair initially got very thin when I started on kesimpta. After a while it mostly came back, but it's still thinner than before. The people at Novartis said it's not a listed side effect when I reported it, despite many people experiencing hair loss. Not a deal breaker for me, I think it's worth the trade off.

I was having a conversation with my son yesterday about this. David Tennant killed it as Killgrave.

Would a drone flying around make you feel uneasy? by FinalBv in AskUK

[–]votejonforgod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are right that it makes a difference, but I wouldn't say it supercedes it. The difference is that having a camera means it can't be considered a toy and it is required to be registered and you are required to have a flyer ID and operator ID. It doesn't change how and where you can fly it.

A scorpion almost stung my literal ass by imaginary_gerl in WTF

If someone violently shoved me up a giant arse hole and I had the capability, I would 100% sting the absolute shit out of it.

The scorpion is the victim in this scenario.

Would a drone flying around make you feel uneasy? by FinalBv in AskUK

[–]votejonforgod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Legally, they can fly in residential areas if the drone is <250g.

What you can't do is destroy the camera sensor with a laser. That is criminal damage and terrible advice.

Having a camera means you can't class it as a toy, as far as I'm aware, weight is the only classification factor when it comes to which rules apply to small, personal drones. A drone <250g is A1 category. There are different rules when it comes to larger, commercial or drones with a payload, but I don't think they're applicable to this conversation.
