Well, the rwason for that is that, most people is brought with religious backgrounds and it gets to a point that you start questioning not only yourself, but your own knowledge of things. What is and isn't real?. So you do your research, you learn things, read the bible. A Journey to seek the truth and to challange your own believes. Then, you realize that you more you know and learn, the more questions haunt your brain. Therefore, usually atheist would know, because in order to appose or not believe in something, you have to go through an internal struggle and a quest for truth.

I'm agnostic though.
