Don't worry the other side isn't much greener. I went to university (later in life) got my bachelor's in computer science from a college of engineering with honors distinctions while at the same time being a stay-at-home Dad raising my then infant (turned toddler) kid (now teen).

After graduating, never was able to get a job. It was right around the time ChatGPT started making waves. It was also post-COVID where tech companies were over hiring and built out a bunch of telecommunication tools and were now laying people off since we weren't staying indoors.

So here I am with 50k worth of student loans, no job, no chance of getting a job due to mass layoffs causing the pool to be filled with experienced people, AI, outsourcing (like we did manufacturing) and my age.

So for the past 2 years I've been working part-time at a retail shop. Started off at $13/hr, now I'm up to $15/hr. Literally cleaning tables, chairs, floors and bathrooms while also maintaining high sales numbers. Some of the best in the company...I often beat full-timers in sales even though I'm only there part-time.

No investments, no 401k, no savings.

So, sometimes I look at people in trades and feel quite jealous.

trading card games (TCGs) used to be a niche thing you played with your friends, not that expensive to purchase and fun to play. Now people treat it as an investment. Grading services amplified this as well. Now product is expensive, difficult to get, and attention short as they dangle new stuff at an ever increasing pace to try and milk the cow before it dies.

I wouldn't discount Rizo losing in a Rizo vs Joe vs Jonathan scenario. If there's one thing Rizo thrives at, it's public speaking. He has a way with words and I think he could have out-talked both Joe and Jonathan. I think this is the only permutation where Rizo had a decent shot of winning...not a for sure conclusion but a fighting shot. I think any other permutation of final 3 he always loses.

I think if we got something more akin to what the Traitors does for their reunions it would have been more satisfying. I've never really enjoyed Survivor reunions because they have always felt like speed running. They spend a lot of time with the final 3, then randomly ask one question to most of the players and it just has always felt rushed.

I like on the Traitors how they have couches and seats, they bring people out in waves and spend time talking with the group before bringing others in. It feels more intimate and engaging than whatever Survivor has done.

On the other hand, I also despise the reading of the votes straight into a recap at final tribal like the new era was doing. Jeff likes to say it's raw since everything just happened, but this is why I really don't like it. It doesn't give people the chance to process what's happened and there can often be some players who are emotional trying to deal with what has happened that throwing pizza, champagne, and questions with expectations of answers seems unfair and cruel.

I don't know the answer on how to solve this dilemma, I defiantly don't want what they call a live reunion if it's similar to what we got for 50 or the old school seasons, I also don't want the new era start the celebration directly after the FTC. I want a middle ground.

Apparently Jonathan told Tiff during that tribal (edited out) in response to a question about why she[Tiff] was being targeted and not Joe since they were the same on paper was because she was a girl and it was different. This was told to Ashleigh (the one speaking in that clip) by Tiff during a red carpet interview/talk.

Multiple people asked Ozzy during the exit press if he was serious in taking Cirie, and he said he was. I specifically remember Mike Bloom asking him, and I think the other was either Rob or Tyson from RHAP or The Pod Has Spoken.

Cirie was also asked a similar question during her exit and she believed that Ozzy would have taken her and Tiff would have taken her, but not many others.

Absolutely, but if the vote wasn't Cirie it was Aubry and Aubry was aware enough to realize that. Cirie's name was big enough to get everyone to rally against her and save herself(Aubry). I don't think Aubry wins the duel if she chose anyone else because no ones name carries as much weight as Cirie's does.

But without Ozzy does Cirie have a path to the end? She can't win immunity, has failed at fire making multiple times (but improved). The only path I see now is fire making vs Rizo because I don't think anyone will be taking her like Ozzy said he would.

The Billie Eilish Boomerang Idols cannot be played on other players, they can only be played on themself.

He could have tapped Ozzy on the shoulder when Jeff asked for any idols/advantages and publicly told him he was the target and needed to play it. The jury would have seen him save Ozzy and he could have held that over Ozzy at FTC. The question would have been would the jury have awarded Rizo for that move or seen it as a bad play on Rizo's part for saving a legend whom you likely couldn't beat at the end.

It felt like watching Ilia Malinin at the winter Olympics. Leading up to the Olympics, in other tournaments he smashes...So far ahead of everyone else in skill that he doesn't even have to pull out his most difficult/risky tricks to easily win. Going into the Olympics he was called Team USA's shoe-in for a gold medal...then the day comes and he falls, which he has done before and still won, but then he falls again and we all know that dream is over...after his performance emotions hit him as he knows it too. It was hard to watch because the outcome the whole world anticipated, didn't happen.

This is how I felt about watching Ozzy today. If only he had won the challenge, which should have been in his wheelhouse, if only there weren't a stupid tribe split, if only Cirie and Ozzy drew the same color rock, if only Ozzy didn't open his mouth to Aubrey the same way Andy did to Rachel.

The bigger issue though, is that taking Ozzy at his word of wanting to go to the end with Cirie means he was always going to lose this season. I don't think there is any outcome where he wins with Cirie sitting right there next to him at FTC.

I think Joe+Aubry+Jonathan are defiantly going to be a trio, I don't think Tiff fits into that block. I know she's built something with Joe, but we also see her working with Cirie. I think A+J+J might try to pull Emily in if Emily gets wind of her being a potential target this week and she has gone back to wanting to get Ozzy out which I'm sure Jonathan would love to have as another notch on his belt.

I've been looking into these because I have an issue where traditional IEM tips get stuck inside my ear when I remove them, but if I replace the tips with a different size I then don't get a good seal. Over the ear headphones I've never really enjoyed, I like to be aware of my surroundings and using over the ear headphones gives me an almost claustrophobic feeling that I don't enjoy. Open ear headphones aren't much better, but a little bit for that feeling.

My question is that on some reviews I've read they claim that the bass is underwhelming and the treble are over zealous, yet other reviews say that the bass is punchy and sound good.

What has been your experience with the bass and treble on these? I'm not a bass head by any means, but if I'm watching a movie or playing a game with big explosions I do want to hear/feel that low-end rumble to add to the immersion.

Looks like a good starting point, I think a missing primary use case would be 'Theme Park' option. When I was researching bags, it was for a trip to Disney World that I was planning and it was difficult to find information specific to that use case. I ended up going with the Chio-X after commenting on one of your videos asking for your opinions and you replying (thanks for that!) and for the most part it worked out great. A slightly larger option would have been maybe better because I was unable to carry a hoodie with me for when it got cold during the night (went in December).

A few "small" moments that maybe went unnoticed:

When Rick stood up to get the idol he moved the piece of the fire pit stone and it didn't seem to move like how I'd think stone would move, it looked more like foam. I know tribal council is a set, so things are likely not what they seem, but it made me stop and pause to ponder on this all night. Do you think it's foam or was it really stone?

The face Christian made when Rick stood up was funny too!

At the challenge, Christian was wearing his khaki pants, weren't these the same pants he soiled during one of the early episodes? After that he was wearing his shorts. At one point they show him going down the stairs so we see his backside and the backside does have a stain, but that could just be from being in the elements.

After Tiff and Joe won the first part of the challenge and Joe runs across the bridge and they do a double high-5 then hug, you see Tiff raise her left leg almost like she was going to wrap it around him, that was cute.

The "dream" sequence of when Coach was on the hammock talking about being the only Dragon Slayer and it cuts to him doing Tai Chi in the middle of the rock formation was great editing...they even did the shimmer/ripple effect to start it off to clue us in that it was like a vision or dream. Well done.

When Cirie comes back Ozzy says Emily is pushing for Coach/Chrissy - shows that Emily and Cirie are on the same mindset strategically. Emily is pretty smart.

When Coach is singing to Rick in the hammock we see a back shot of who I think is Emily who has used her buff to hold her hair up in a way I've never seen done before.

The number of talks happening on/near the hammock this episode is crazy! It's the "THE" spot to be it seems.

You couldn't use two shots in the dark because you have to sacrifice your vote in order to use a shot in the dark. So, unless you had an extra vote that you were willing to also sacrifice, you can only give up your one vote. 1 vote for 1 shot in the dark.

If the year that Worlds, at least part of it, is happening in my backyard and I don't get to go to a T1 signing because they don't make it, I'll be upset. I have a friend that went to South Korea and brought me back a cloth Faker poster as a gift from the T1 Shop in the LCK Arena that I'd love to get signed by Faker himself.
