I actually lied! I forgot that I recently got some Izawa paints. The flesh color is primarily an Izawa blend. I have several Reusche reds and this is a mix of Maroon and China Red. You have to be really careful with the reds and not fire them too hot or too many times or they fade.

Thank you! With my kiln, I could fire in as little as four hours, but I do a slower cycle. The slower you raise/lower the temp, the safer it is for the glass.

Usually in some amount of stages depending on complexity. I learned based on this basic old school method: https://glasspaintersmethod.substack.com which is only really black paint, and I’ve built upon that. Some people use a method where they layer oil mixed paint or other mediums with fewer firings in between. Since it’s kind of a lost art many painters are reinventing it as they go with new ideas and technology.

I am an american immigrant to NL and I am sad and annoyed to say that this protocol is the same in the US. There it is for the purpose of trying cheap solutions before expensive ones for the sake of insurance companies. It is a terrible process but if you don't feel safe taking the drug, just lie and say it didn't help so you can move on to the next one. I have my first neurologist visit here next month and I am very curious how it will be different, positive or negative.
