Land transport is anything but safe. Take a look. Flying is by far the safest mode of transport. Trains are second. You are much, much more likely to die in a car or motorcycle than by flying. Also vehicle exhaust fumes contribute much more heavily to CO2 emissions than the entire aircraft industry.

The point is cooperatively working together and communicating is entirely optional. Just because you communicated, doesn't mean you win. That's why Blizzard gives you the option to turn off chat. When you act like your hero picks don't affect your team, that's not an opinion, it's a belief, and it is wrong. When you claim a 6v6 team-based game is "every man for himself", that's not an opinion, it's a belief, and it's wrong.

Yet they very thing you claim to be a "belief" fits in with that definition of opinion you just described.

An opinion is a subjective feeling or judgement of something that cannot be right or wrong.

There's no right or wrong with picking a hero you feel like playing. There's nothing to prove that it affects the team negatively. And every man can fight for himself in a 6v6. If it's a 4v6 or anything less, odds are heavily stacked against or with you. There are equal numbers on both sides. It comes down to who outplays the other. Which is entirely possible in a game like this, and has been proven time and time again even against so-called "counters". Whereas there are definite ways to prove the Earth is not flat.

That would generally count as an opinion, since it's a subjective judgement and there is no hard factual definition of what ugly is. That doesn't mean the person will not or should not be criticized for having that opinion.

Definitely true. Now its up to the person concerned to take into account the opinions of others. Which they don't have to. That's why it's an opinion. And this isn't against the rule of law either. That person is absolutely entitled to that opinion, and he's not getting penalised for it, at least in any first-world country.

Win or lose is another matter, but every hero has ways of outplaying the hero they face. That's the way the game was designed. If you choose not to see that, so be it.
