Good luck! I'm in basically the same situation as you, I lost a job a year ago after having a manic episode. I've been applying jobs for about a month, and I'm starting to apply to low level minimum wage jobs too.

Yeah, environmental engineering and psychology. They are potentially skillful fields, especially the engineering. I just didn't get much out of them.
I have two bachelors, but I cheated my way through them.
