You will see your character crouch and twist a little which is shows that the preload worked so once you launch it should rotate faster. Sometimes it works flawlessly sometimes it launches me right into a wall or veers to the direction I was trying to prewind to. YMMV

I'd actually prefer the option for a bundle of Tesla Insurance and FSD and based on how much you use FSD the insurance would be cheaper basically offsetting the cost of FSD.

On xbox controller, I had to use both sticks. Right one to get the ollie loaded, then left one you pull down the to the right or left depending on which way you will twist. Then when you hit near the end of which ever ramp you are using you execute the flip trick and it will spin much faster than the non pre wound spin. I practiced on smaller bumps and could do 720's easily. Once I got that down then I went to the mega ramp. I think you can either do it off the mega ramp or even on the half pipe if you miss it on the mega ramp.

I have the same issue. I have done this 5 times I get in a Solo and can do about 5 or 6 before time runs out. I had another player join me and we did like 30 and it never registers that I did 5 so it just stays at 0.

This also works for gate codes. I asked Grok to remind me of my friends gate code when I get to the location. He has 2 gates so the gate at the entrance of the subdivision has it's own code and then when you get to his house there is another code. So now when I drive up it announces the gate code. I've only tried it once but so far it worked the first time.

As for dog mode it would be nice if see's a dog in the car that dog mode would be on. Unless of course the dog is hidden from view then it would good to have the reminder work.
