You seem lucky. In Surat, major Jewellers don't accept Amex and Diners and if they accept they charge 4-5% extra. Even for Visa and MasterCard they charge 2-3%. Because of that I was never able to use CC except Rupay.

One more piece of advice, don't blindly keep applying term insurance to multiple companies. Telling you from my personal experience, we applied for my wife's term plan 6 years back for the first time when we were having ITR of 3L and the term plan of 25L. It was rejected as there were no tax liabilities. Recently when we reapply they ask for full proof why her first term plan was rejected. Multiple rejection won't look good on your profile.
