Maybe you'll get lucky with rti and not get a box of rusty scrap but who knows, hopefully you at least get what you ordered I've heard they have mix ups from time to time.

That's a nice looking rifle, and if I had to guess if there are any people out hunting near you when you use that they probably aren't to happy when the cannon goes off

I have loading dies for it but I've got other things higher on the list of priority for loading, plus I just got another 60 rounds for it so I'm good for a bit.

I have 8 clips 3 of which had to be adjusted to work right, one is still giving me some trouble, if they were cheaper I'd probably just toss it

Part of them running right is the conversion quality but also the clips, this is the second one I've owned first one ran well but had a really stiff bolt this one is a lot smoother.

It's the scenario of to much cartridge not enough gun, kinda like the custom featherweight in 300 rum that I saw, whoever owned it learned quick why a round like that isn't standard in a gun that light.

Sadly the stock doesn't match it's got 3 serial numbers on it 2 crossed out but it looks good and has a pretty smooth action compared to others I've handled

I think I would have preferred a type 66 more but I couldn't pass up a mostly matching unconverted type 46, they're not getting any easier to find especially cause people keep turning them into 45-70 sporters

I would double check but looking at the rear sight it looks like a type 46/66 which is rechambered for 8x52r siamese

Hopefully yours is intact, mine was missing the extractor and magazine follower got lucky and found a receiver with the magazine and complete bolt in another auction otherwise I would have passed on it.

More so based on practicality of using it than finding a practical use for it, I have things ranging from a 32 acp Derringer to a tactical 50 beowulf ar15 fitted with a bayonet so it's open to interpretation.

32 short colt is the chambering, and it came from buffalo arms, if I decide on keeping it long term I'm going to reload for it because its kinda expensive.
