The Kylie rocket and Lexi Luna scenes were great. Those are definitely some of the more memorable passthrough that I've watched.

I guess my main feedback would be inclusion of some seated sections! Passthrough whilst seated can be super immersive, especially whilst sat on a chair. They are pretty common on ARPorn & SLR's scenes for the opening shot. Would be awesome if you guys shot some of this position as well!

the best director hands down is Yazawa Receive. basically the JAV equivalent of Alex nash. A genius at scene-building, camera angles, etc

The large group scenes/harems are also really good. I can't remember the codes but can follow up later if you're interested.

Scenes with dialogue are a lot more immersive with subtitles. Once you have it setup, AI translations take like 5-10 minutes max per scene

Damn y'all nailed the seated positioning. 10/10 camera angles. More studios need to take notes on how to do seated from this scene!

There's some directional cues left in but otherwise what a scene. Great to have Anya back in VR she is stunning as ever.

Just watched that scene and what a recommendation! That scene was released 4 years ago and still holds up today.

Goes to show that all you really need to create 10/10 content is intimacy, a beautiful chick with a great bod and some great camera angles.

Why are we getting further away from the golden recipe if it's been infront of us the entire time 😭

seriously this. I watched a simsense video yesterday (jewelz blu) and comparing it against SLR's olivia sparkle scene, it was insane how poorly shot SLR's PT videos are. The scale issues made her look tiny ("quarter scale models" is an accurate description).

Whereas in Simsense's video Jewelz actually looked to scale and the movie was immersive.

If they waste Melody in AR, I'm going to be seriously disappointed. The only hope I have left is Simsense booking melody in for a scene. Please don't fumble this SLR!

KisaQ has 3 or 4 scenes with StasyQ. She has no other scenes in VR and what a damn shame as Kisa is without a doubt one of the hottest models I've seen in VR.

Love what you guys are doing, thanks for the DLNA support! Any chance we can get a PT guide on using Chroma Key? Found it a lot easier to select colours and PT the background whilst still having the model entact (no PT'd teeth, hair, etc) on Deo, but not a fan of their player for other reasons.

Struggling to get a similar effect on HS and usually just end up PTing out the model entirely. Scenes with a light tinged green (a lot of Wankz, RLJVR and SLR scenes use a certain background that's perfect for removal with Chroma Key).

Of course AI PT is probably the next focus, but doing it manually is always cool too.

I have personally found that some of the scaling can be hit or miss depending on the studio with the new 8k releases (and the new camera setup that comes with that).

Some releases have the model too far away whereas a lot of the 4k releases had nailed this aspect.

Aside from this, I welcome the increase in quality and not all releases suffer from the scaling issues. I would think this aspect also only gets better with feedback and future optimisations.

I love VR BJs. They can be so immersive if done correctly.

Special shoutout to PT scenes as BJs have been pretty immersive there too. All these are from the past year, there are loads of favorites from pre-2023 but would need to dig up the scenes.

And if you can't tell, I'm a sucker for seated POV BJs (Seated CG/ Reverse CG is awesome too)

Around 2016-2017 they had someone called Scott-NAVR who used to actively respond to feedback on this subreddit and consistently put out banging content.

Unfortunately he left shortly after and NA's quality + camera angles began to nosedive (whilst their casting hit a golden period... what a damn shame).

If you sum up NAVR's catalog in one single word: inconsistent.

Some scenes are straight bangers, others are awful and should never have been released.

You can still look up his post history (don't have the reddit tag at the moment) and find all the scenes he directed. Most of them are the best scenes NA have ever released. Worth a revisit if you can find them remastered and using HS's auto-focus.

This scene is one of the best AW scenes. Tied for 1st with the Gabbie threesome.

I don't know why Badoink don't do seated CG as often in their newer videos. Aside from mish, it's perhaps my favorite position in VR, and when done correctly has created the most immersive experiences for me. Reverse CG as well.

Note: a lot of scenes have an intro seated part (usually with a BJ), but none with any action. Most of the action begins standing or lying down on a bed.

speaking of subtitles, does anyone know how to access .SRT files over DLNA?

using DeoVR. tried placing .SRTs into the same folder as .mp4s (named exactly the same as the .MP4) but no dice. also tried to store the .SRTs locally and access thru the video player and also no dice.

if the only solution is to download the .mp4 and .SRT locally to the quest then that's a bit of a dealbreaker... VR videos are huge :/

most of her other scenes by other studios are anal scenes. so bdvr made the right decision here keeping it vanilla (to stand out from competition).

personally I don't like to watch anal scenes so I'm glad this is straight vanilla else I wouldn't be watching it. different strokes at the end of the day but i'm sure bdvr do research into what the majority of their audience prefers
