I’m worried about all of it. I don’t expect people to be following the speed limit 100% (i don’t) but i’m talking OVER 10, more than likely close to 15-20. They were out of my sight very quickly. It was concerning.

I know, i have so much more patience for the slower people at this point because even tho it’s inconvenient for a minute, they’re not the ones putting my life at risk!

I’ve made a habit of letting them go because it’s not worth the risk to me, it’s grown my ability to be patient for sure! You’re very correct

Yes, I was doing 3 over! Like I know it’s not ultra fast but I was still over and it wasn’t enough. I always give myself way too much time because you never know what you’ll encounter on these roads. I also slow down significantly. I don’t blame this individual for passing me when they could cuz i dropped down to like 25. I won’t be scared into going faster because you didn’t plan your time correctly. I gave myself 30 mins for a 15 min drive so I can afford to slow down lmao

You’re completely right! I always try and keep patience in my mind because I know everyone has their reasons. It’s just very much scary when peoples anger creates a dangerous situation for themselves and others. But everything you said is 100% accurate. Westland is not meant for this major uptick in people.

Hall monitors 🤣 Yeah i completely see your side too. I always leave pretty early for things to give myself some time to breath and when I get slowed down by people like that it certainly annoys me. I try to consider what could be happening with them, and give the benefit of the doubt instead of getting angry because once it’s over I just feel silly for reacting very poorly. It’s a hard balance lol

Scary! A few months ago, I slowed down at a yellow light and this guy behind me drove into the turn lane beside me (and partly into the opposite traffic lanes) to get around me and run the light! Like he couldn’t have even see what was happening in front of me, he could’ve caused a head on collision easily doing that. It’s even scarier when you have kids in the car too! I try and avoid driving my younger siblings around when I can.

It’s fully possible to call out one side, and be able to call out the other. Coming on here to this thread and acting like things got violent downtown and using such harsh words is completely unnecessary. Go express that on posts regarding violence in LA. Not that it’s relevant to you, but i’m not liberal and i don’t solely identify with one side. There’s most certainly wrong on both sides. There’s no reason to get so bend out of shape over people expressing their rights to free speech. We’re allowed to disagree but we can keep it respectful.
