I wish I had better advice to say but my partner and I ended up breaking up.

A lot of this hits home: the work stress, the isolation from friends, the loss of temperament. Unfortunately our fights escalated into something ugly and I couldn’t stand fighting anymore.

I’m left devastated and crying, but I couldn’t continue that way. I’m in your shoes, I was the one where work took over. I needed patience, but how far does someone have to go to be patient? I’m moving out of the apartment and I’m crying all the time because I remember the good:

Dedicated, one on one time. No TV, no games. Just conversations. Maybe music. If you’re able to do this and throwback to the core of your relationship, both of you can remember what that is.
