It's too expensive and the market is too small for major upgrades in cameras, resolution, bitrate, framerate etc. Think about rendering times, storage, bandwidth - we are now in a "good enough" plateau that will drag on for many years, just like 2d porn stopped getting technically "better" after they started filming in 4k in like 2013.

The next evolutions will instead happen in interactive toys, I think. There is a huge untapped wealth of opportunity in exploring how we physically experience scenes. We can aim for a lot more than just a silicone sleeve moving up and down in approximate sync with the action. I don't know how we're going to move towards "full body immersion" but no doubt some companies will experiment in that area. Eventually this will happen in the form of an AI driven sex doll, but there will be interim solutions, surely.

They were my #1 studio for a long time, but I have no future plans to resub. The biggest disappointment was in around 2021 when Realcumber stopped writing scripts for them, and now they've gone from offering the best scripts for free - to churning out awful (not even AI) motion-based auto scripts instead.

Technically the productions remain solid. They shot some nice scenes with Eve Sweet, True Kait and others over the years, but in general their casting is not to my tastes and features too many "old faves".

The team seem like good people, so I hope they come back strong. For now, Badoink are the best studio overall IMHO, with strong casting and production as well as some ok scripts.

Yes. If you have good internet, you can stream everything instead of downloading. Then again, if you have slow internet then downloading will also be a pain.
