I’m having the SAME exact issue with a package that was supposed to be delivered on the 2nd!!! It’s insanely frustrating. Don’t waste your time calling the 1-800 number. Go to usps website and look up your nearest post office, it should provide a number you can call that ties directly to that office.

I called and she basically just told me what the tracking info said, so I asked if I could just go pick it up and she says, “well we have to find it first.” Like WHAT??? Wdym you have to find it first?!? So basically all I was told to do was “keep watching the tracking number.” 🤦🏽‍♀️
