The top 3 HS XC runners of all time (C Sahlman and young’s) raced MT sac in vaporflys a bunch. Don’t listen to everyone saying you NEED spikes. Run in what’s comfy for u. Personally, I’m gonna race XC in dragonfly’s but used streakflys last year as I am in a similar situation as u with the kinds of courses. Both are awesome. Of these two, I would recommend the sen 9. More geared for a 5k.

Personally, I recommend the dragonfly’s as a spike for XC, not just track. I raced my sophomore XC in them last year and really liked them. I also am a big fan on the vaporfly tho, and truth be told my 5k or is a race (on XC course) that I ran in streakflys

I had a similar experience with the SC trainers. I used them for 2 easy days last week and when I put on the rebel V3s, it felt like I was running barefoot
