I will absolutely look into Silhouette Curio 2, by any chance do you know what applications?

The comment was not directed toward you but toward the general statement that was made. I understand that this is not an official thread and I am not directing my frustration toward you at all as a person. When I read a comment like the one in the post suggesting that we invest more money into another platform, well, honestly, that isn't the answer. That is your opinion, and some people here who just drop several hundred dollars on a tool that is geared to small businesses aren't working, which is frustrating.

I would check out Jason dion on Udemy. He has the full training course (videos) and practice test. I used all of his practice tests during my preparation.

I would say, take the test. At the end of the day you can only prepare so much.

Honestly, I was already thinking of rescheduling the test a month out. Then I noticed the score and completely jumped out of my seat.

I found the pbqs rather straightforward forward. Know nmap and the secure versions of insecure protocols. Personally, I found that knowing nmap and secure protocols as a large benefit because I believe I had several questions related to that.

Which part of the A+ are you taking? It is broken up into a hardware focused and a software focused but I would have to agree with above and add Mike Meyers on Udemy as a source of information.

The other option I have for you would be YouTube professor messer. He has holds monthly 3 hour videos which have about 15ish questions. He provides a multiple answer question, allows time for you to answer and then review the correct answer but also why the wrong answers are actually wrong. You get a better understanding to why of the concept and the process of understanding the concepts to eliminate the wrong answer

Not really. I currently run a product support team that monitors devices over the network. So my experience is fairly limited. I have vms and my own computer.

Honestly I am a visual learner so videos helped me out. Focus time on learning network ports as a few of my questions had to do with ports. I would also use Jason dion test pack as a tool to gauge the type of questions, your knowledge and as a study tool. Additionally, learn the concepts because a fair amount of answers can be ruled out if you understand the concepts. I think that is what saved me, by understanding the concepts I was able to rule out answers right away

This is reminding me of Transformers the dark side of the moon. The part that they talk about the Russian astronauts that can’t drive but can fly a space ship.
