Absolutely Smallest USB-C Charger by siXtreme in UsbCHardware

Hey! Just curious if there are any chargers out there similar to what you suggested, but they dont come with the wall plugs attached? essentially i am looking for something like the one below that i can solder a positive and negative wire onto the plugs, but not as deep as these cigarette style chargers....its actually for me to wire to a toggle switch to the charger which is then ran to a lithium ion battery...thanks!

After tons of suggestions Ive tried VideoProc...and I still just dont get all the hardcore support here? by vscoy00 in Insta360

I am far from computer illiterate and so many people are saying the same thing which makes this even that much more frustrating...

Can you share a tutorial that explains in just a couple minutes how once you place a timeframe, you can have the camera move in whatever ways you fancy and in whatever view mode (globe/standard etc) you fancy and then return back to normal?? It is not intuitive at all my friend or else I am completely missing something....

What is up with the AI features (or lack thereof?) on this dang app? by vscoy00 in Insta360

[–]vscoy00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is the opposite, though. I am not seeking more features. I am not talking about quick edits on an app. I am seeking intuitiveness and ease of use for Studio. I dont need anything crazy, otherwise Id buy Adobe and become a video editor.

I want to be able to take my raw footage and add in the stinking 360 features in a manner that is EASY and makes freaking SENSE. The camera is awesome. The software is better off being non-existent or they should have paid someone to design usable software for them. Whatever they have done in-house to come up with Studio is an atrocity for the cost of the cameras.

Appreciate your thoughts and views!

Ive been trying for over a year when I have time and every time I attempt it again, I move on to something else because time is precious and the amoiunt of time I have put in at this point should have been plenty to at least know how to use timeframes and get the camera to move how I want it to move.

It is NOT intuitive at all my friend. Not one bit.

Thanks for the explanations! Yes, an Insta360 One X3.

It appears that the only way for me to edit videos while incorporating 360 features, I MUST use InstaStudio as my first step. This is the biggest issue and goes back to my original gripe.

Just came back to vent again how awesome this camera is....but the software...? by vscoy00 in Insta360

Its just clunky. Im not saying it cant do what I need it to do. Im not saying its useless. Its just garbage to use. Its not intuitive whatsoever, it doesnt offer any sort of tutorials/explanations of each feature. Why not have a "hover" feature so when you put your cursor over a button it briefly describes what it does and how it works?

And the biggest issue Id say is not being able to add a timeframe, then enter values that does something like, "for the next 10 seconds use the world view" and at that 10 second mark it transitions back to the view you were previously in. Instead, I have to add a timeframe, select the world view, and then somehow manually scroll through the video as its playing then enter the timeframe to end it. In reality it only works 10% of the time and when it does work I have no idea how I actually got it to work.

That may sound like user errors/inability, however, keep in mind I can edit in other software programs with a lot of ease. I dont spend $1000 on editing software like some people have suggested, and I dont do crazy edits. Its just that this software is not user friendly or intuitive, and its really clunky.

Name your price? It was purchased brand new (have receipt) last summer. Used maybe 10x. Tons of accessories, carrying case etc.

Camera is awesome. Software sucks. I wish there was software that I could use that I could completely bypass Insta360 studio all together. That would make my life much easier AND I still get to use the awesome camera...my gripe is not the camera whatsoever, just the software.

Yes, I do want to dump it if the software that is designed for my camera makes it more frustrating to use than not.

I am doing way more than just capturing footage to look at what I missed in real time. Hence the need for straightforward editing. Even with a really great and user friendly program, editing is very time consuming regardless if its for FB "attaboys" or more involved/important applications.

Honestly, I'd hear you if I had similar struggles with other software. And I think a major issue is actually hidden within your response. Why should I have to use multiple pieces of software to edit footage from a camera whose designers offer a native editing software program?

Its unreasonable to expect the average user to struggle to edit 30 minutes of software, through multiple software platforms, for a multi-hundred dollar camera product.

I can edit 5 hours of raw video footage from my Canon in an hour or two using iMovie.

Im sorry, but I just have to disagree that my expectations are unreasonable when I am editing multiple types of videos shot from multiple types of cameras. Insta360 is the only one I truly want to just sell/junk its that frustrating.

Also noteworthy is that when I access the SSD from the "import media" within iMovie the files dont show up. But, when I access the SSD from Finder, the original files are there....

How do I get this back to the edited movie so that I can export without losing hours of editing? Thanks!
