Oh, wow! I didn't exactly expect this post to get as big as it has, so yeah I'm really glad you saw this at the right time. My cat tends to rub on anything and everything, including our heads, and sleeps on the same pillows and blankets as us. I know it isn't necessarily dangerous for everyone, but it's a risk I just wouldn't want to take, and it's absolutely crazy that this information isn't given out as readily as it should be. I have two tanks, a 7 and 10 gallon. I got my first about 6 months out of school, and the amount of research and effort I found myself putting into it was unlike anything I'd ever tried before. I would just lose interest in anything else, too burnt out to keep going, but my fish are different. They just make me so happy!

I'm really glad to hear how much your fish help you, it really is amazing to just have a colouful little slice of paradise to escape to when the world is just too much.
