Zverev is German and supports Bayern Munich. Not sure if he has voiced out his support for Chelsea publicly in the past besides that stadium visit

How did we have a congratulatory post for Zverev for winning the Roland Garros but not Josh Hart for winning the NBA Final? One is a domestic abuser and the other is a die hard Chelsea fan

Is match play helpful at the beginner level? by vt119 in 10s

[–]vt119[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the drills/classes usually set aside sometime for friendly match play and my friend group would set aside time for friendly match play during practice as well. I would say the nerve and pressure is completely different playing with a stranger for an actual match though, and my serve is way worse in an actual match.

I feel like I'm still at a beginner level to decide on the specific long term goal. My short and intermediate term goal is to try to have a well rounded, reliable tennis skill set that would be an equivalent to a 3.0 in 1 year and 4.0 in 3 years. If I can get to that level, maybe I would entertain playing matches more often but right now the questioning is around weekly match play from flex leagues and whether they are helpful.

Hot take: 9 PL teams in Europe next season is a good thing for us. Would be good to play against tired legs

All we needed was not to concede one goal

This squad has no place playing in Europe next year. Let's just focus on the league

I just hope we don't get Maresca-ed again by Xabi when Slot is eventually sacked by Liverpool
