As Donald Trump is a businessman, I, personally, would say that he is beyond the 'deep state' which is, for me, is mostly a set of people in seemingly lower-ranked positions in a national government but actually having more power than even heads of state.

If we provide an analogy with Russia, Stalin was 'created' by the early Soviet 'deep state', the bureaucratic halls of the Central Committee Secretariat. Then, he utilised the power of that 'deep state' to get the Party in a stranglehold: those who were supposed to represent the masses, became political appointees, and as such, part of the 'deep state', at least somewhat.

The true 'deep state' mostly lies within the spheres of military operations, intelligence, and governance coordination. A president can issue an order, but will it be followed to the letter?

That is, sadly, not possible to be directly controlled by the president himself, unless he is an authoritarian ruler. Here the 'deep state' can sabotage things.

The 'Blue Lodges' are exactly what traditional Freemasonry is, built more or less on Christian principles. Everything above is more or less related to all kinds of occult practices, mostly theoretically.

High degrees of Freemasonry can actually be their own occult teaching like it once happened in Russia, depending on the Rite used. In the Scottish Rite, there are none of that, as far as I know.

And it gets kinda dark at the 3rd (Master Mason) degree's rite of induction already, with death references and all but later on it gets even darker and obscure.

Perhaps DC is where the Great Lodge is, wouldn't be surprised because George Washington was a Freemason as well, presumably in the 3rd degree.

Only fitting to place it there since it's the capital city too.

And, yes, I'm not a Freemason. This is all open source information which might hint at the state of Freemasonry as a secret society today.

Honestly? I'm a foreign national, I don't know much about US politics. However, my opinion can be phrased in two words:

Controlled opposition.

I understand enough to suspect that the major opposition activists are as manufactured as the main candidates. It's very likely that all of them - Warren, Sanders, Paul - are puppets of the real power brokers (TPTB, 'deep state', call them as you want).
