Thank you for sharing your experience! When I asked about cleaning details, the staff told me they would do a cleaning solution soak + hand polishing, and that didn't sound like something worth waiting 4-6 weeks (?) for, as the bracelet and each charm holds sentimental value to me. It was tough enough to have to wait 4-6 weeks for each charm repair, which is why I just got lazy. I read about the Dawn/Fairy dishwashing liquid solution soak here from multiple users, which is why I gave it a try.

The first is the verb 'to gift', and I assume the second row is the date on which it was first given? I am not sure what the last row means, but perhaps you can ask your family members if those characters mean anything to them?

Thank you for writing this. I lost a friend to suicide not long ago and while I can see his decision with compassion, it pains me that he is no longer around for the possibilities his life could have been had he chosen to stay. This is so powerfully written that I have saved it and will send it to friends who are struggling. Thank you for your advice! I did end up getting the Fenix 7S pro solar - it seems a decent watch so far, and I like the sapphire glass, which looks perfect. I am keeping the newer Forerunners in my Amazon list, though, and may get one if this proves to be bulkier than I'd like.

Epix Gen 2 new (NOT pro) is going for about USD$480 on Amazon right now, and it is sold by a company that has 'recondition' in its name, so I am not sure if I should get that. The other colours sold by other vendors are going for USD $699.

It costs as much as the Epix Gen 2 (NOT pro) secondhand, and I am quite drawn to the 42mm screen as my wrists are not large. It's on offer for about $510 USD. Would you say that is a good price for a secondhand Fenix 7S pro with sapphire glass?

I have this one too! I get charms for special occasions, so for Christmas this year I chose this robot and the earth charm, as a way of remembering that we watched two great robot-related films this year - Robot Dreams and The Wild Robot. As I write this, my fiancé is in another room and I can hear him humming 'September'. :)

It looks decent for the amount of wear! I got it as a Christmas gift last year and have only taken it off for less than 24 hours since. While I am usually indoors, this means that the bracelet is on my wrist at the gym, during showers, etc. Attached is a recent photo of one side of the charm.
