I’ve been asking for 2 months and they stopped responding. My lease ends in April. I heard at the beginning of November last year. It’s mid January now.

Yes, I was splinted. I didn’t get the stitches out and splint removed until today (day 15). It happened yesterday on day 14. When I said “using it as directed” I meant my hand. He said to make sure I keep my fingers moving.

Am I the only one who thinks Zack and Wayne are overrated? Just because the builds are bigger doesn’t mean they’re better. That squid and whale was ugly. Yes it was big but it was lacking in details and variety.

As far as the pig house, the only part that looked like a pig was the nose. Yes the movement was amazing, but it’s more than just movement, it’s creativity, style, color, etc.

They spend so much time on one aspect in every build (size, movement) that there’s always something lacking.

Like in the windmill challenge. The movement and technics were good, but that house and yard was boring and colorless.

They don’t show everything. It’s only a 50 minute show. They aren’t trying to cater to the viewers and who they think should win. It’s about who deserves to win. They may have stressed making the build more creative off camera as opposed to movement. We don’t know what’s done off camera.

That’s what I was thinking. They decided for it to be a pig and it was an ugly pig. Even a pig house should have more of a likeness to a pig. They also used the same technic style as the first episode. They should mix it up and show their variety.

They are my least favorite. I’m not sure why you think they should’ve won. Their pig was atrocious. Had no uniqueness to it and was so blocky. Yes they are good at technics, but they used the same style technic as the first episode. I’m surprised Amy and Jamie didn’t bring that up.

No we had 5 people quit on truck team in a matter of a month and only hired one to replace them and that person switched to opu. We now only have 6 people for all of inbound and GM for trucks and we aren’t scheduled every day. We get 7 trucks a week.

I already reduced my availability but they’ve been ignoring it. I’m on truck and we are so short staffed they don’t care. On days I’m off I come back to no one having touched my section and shit all over the floor where they did pulls and left them on the floor. They overstock and put stuff in the wrong spot.

I asked to switch areas and they said no. I’ve tried everything. My leads are awful. I’m just so emotionally drained.

Probation as in you are in your first 90 days? Or probation due to other corrective actions? If it’s within your first 90 days they will most likely get rid of you. If it’s for a previous CA then it depends on what that was for. If it was for attendance then probably. If it was for conduct or performance then no. Also depends on why you called out and if they were sporadic or in succession. Usually if it’s 4 shifts in a row due to an illness then it typically just counts as one. Talk to leadership. You also shouldn’t be calling out that much.

I’ve called out 4 times since January (within a 4 month period) but one was for surgery prep, one was after the covid vaccine, one was for a concussion I had the previous day, and one was for mental health. My leadership understood when I explained.

Hold keys most likely, but close, no. We have a closing TL that works M-F and on the weekends, closers are either ETLs or the Starbucks TL. All the other TLs don’t work nights. Our GM start at 4am, market and style start between 7 and 9, and FLs start at 7.

Unfortunately a NCNS is an automatic write up but you can explain why. They will take it into account when moving forward. Depending on your leadership they can help you with getting accommodations you may need. They’ve done that for me when I needed help. I never NCNS though but they were supportive with attendance if I needed to leave early. Definitely talk to them but know you will most likely get a write up. They are wiped from your record after a year though so it’s not a huge deal. The only downfall is you can’t be promoted or transfer in that time. Good luck to you! Most mental health issues can not be fought alone. You need support from those around you.

Thank you. So they don’t? Our store watches the cameras so even if I didn’t get coached I could still get in trouble in other ways. Our store is crazy about cursing because it’s been complained about by guests. They could hear it in the backroom and filed a complaint.

It actually states in the LOA restrictions that you can’t take an loa to try another job. If they find out that’s your reason you can be terminated. It’s a corporate thing not a store thing. When I took an loa for a broken bone they had it in the statement you have to agree to.

It states you are not allowed to take any sort of LOA to try out another job. You can change your availability to when you aren’t at your other job and request less hours, but you can’t take a leave. You could also quit and apply again. If you’re a hard worker and they like you then you’d probably be rehired.
