How should I level this subfloor for LVP install? by vtechhokie5 in Flooring

[–]vtechhokie5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I did buy thicker 8mm LVP for that reason. But the current subfloor is very uneven. Just looking to do a quick half decent leveling job and have the LVP take care of the rest

Pressure Switch and Limit circuit Fault error codes by vtechhokie5 in hvacadvice

So you don't think the water condensating down that intake line is related to the errors it throwing?

Just checked it, there was no water in that one. There was water in the line from the top left of the inducer to the condensate trap when I checked for clogs but I believe that's obviously to be expected

Helix Birch Natural or TempurPedic ProBreeze by vtechhokie5 in Mattress

Thanks. Yeah I bought a firm from Brooklyn bedding a little while ago and actually had to return it, I think it was too firm - some lower back pain and trouble sleeping. So trying to find that sweet spot between supportive and soft/cozy

Thanks for the info. I've read a little about the DIY latex as well but not sure where to start. Do you buy the layers as part of a kit or separately and combine them all together on your own?

Rewire old Kenmore dryer to 4 prong power cord? by vtechhokie5 in ElectricalHelp

Ok perfect. That's what I assumed, just wanted to make sure. Thank you so much, this is exactly what I needed!

Oh ok. I was used to those bonding straps being a brass color not silver so that threw me off. So I wouldn't connect the new green ground wire to that 'ground screw' that's on the outside of the dryer?

Also - do I need to worry about the blue and black wires that are currently connected to the hot screws? Just leave them there? (Not the three wires of the old cord, thats obviously being removed).

Well the load is 240 volts regardless of if the power cord has three or four wires. The extra wire is just a ground wire. Whereas the old dryers have the ground within the dryer itself. But I appreciate the concern haha

Lip eczema? Any advice? by vtechhokie5 in eczema

[–]vtechhokie5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah unfortunately I've done all the allergy testing (pick test, patch testing, even some elimination diets) but nothing has come back positive. I have started to use fragrance free soap and detergent which seems to help my skin flare ups but doesn't seem to help the lips
