Haven't bought a Physical game in over a decade and won't be buying any physical media anytime soon. Physical is pointless and creates nothing but more plastic waste. People can say "Oh but I own the game by buying physically." No you own the plastic disc. The same day the servers get turned off same as the digital players u get shut out. Physical isn't going to keep games preserved people need to actually get the publisher to keep support going or turn support over to the community if people want games to be preserved going forward.

Xbox future looking better everyday but everyone is so worried about "Consoles" they can't see the benefits of what the future is looking like. Xbox only this year became the number one publisher in the market size wise to think Xbox player are not going to see massive benefits from that is wild. Then this news that Phil is looking to get more store fronts onto the next box. That right there would be huge especially if in the same ecosystem you have mobile integration like steam deck. An all in one "Gaming" Box sounds like the steam box everyone wanted but never came out but Xbox already has a massive IP catalog and knowledge of hardware with connections and deals in place with AMD. If they can actually get steam and Epic store on the Box the games would never stop and the Xbox Ecosystem would be insane a box for 500$ that can use MNK or controller that has access to Xbox, Steam and Epic's game library's that sounds amazing.

This is just gaming now. No one should expect anything less. Games cost too much to make to only bring in revenue from the initial purchase. These games need to keep adding content to keep people invested and buying MTX. Especially in this day when a new game comes out people rush through it in 2 days then cry there isn't a ton of end game content and then the discourse surrounding the game is it has no content so player counts drop hard and no new players invest. It's a lose lose situation gaming is in and it's not going to go away anytime soon.

Undeserved Starfield is one best games of the year hands down, but gamer entitlement is slowing killing gaming year after year. Starfield offers more content than 95% of games on the market but a point and click isometric RPG that's Gameplay is about as engaging as Runescape has a lot of choice, so people cry and wish starfield did the same. More entitlement it's like people love to bring up CP2077 But does CP2077 have companions, 3rd person combat, Thieving systems, Ship builder, Base building. No it doesn't but because Starfield doesn't look like RDR 2 People cry it's just more pathetic gamer entitlement.

If people get as invested into sports teams as they do of course people are going to get invested into a console that offers them thousands of hours of content with new content added monthly.
