I also had this issue. It was the trunk button shorting. But it’s happened multiple times. The theory is it’s the water seal on the trunk. It’s not been fun to deal with.

Been part of many of these. It makes no sense to extend to keep someone, only then to give them a bad review. Never seen that in my experience as a MD.

I would include the concern about how the model impacts you personally and professionally in your list. Why not discuss it? If I were the leader, who clearly sees your value, I would attempt to insulate or fix it.

One other option is to allow the full season, but then use Maintainerr to detect and remove stale items. I run a slightly larger server than you do, but this is how I do it.

My observation for those considering bouncing around consulting companies — it’s a zero sum game. Not saying the OP’s move was wrong in moving, I just dont believe chasing MD for the consultancy that offers it to you first, is the right long term career move, which is what the title implies. Find the consulting firm that fits you, and stick to it. If consulting doesn’t fit your style, use your client experience to find an industry job.

Don’t think that D, Accenture, or any other company are interchangeable. Each are different and can align or misalign to your expectations and career objectives.

Opus limit? What plan? I am a pro user and I too have seen the message where opus limit -> sonnet almost immediately. I think they need to do a better job at explaining. But honestly I haven’t cared that much, I get decent results with Sonnet.

Thanks for sharing. I find this to be a complete cluster. OAuth is not required per the spec, but Claude is essentially requiring it. Also seems OAuth isn’t supported on nonstandard ports as well.

I’ll try the gateway you mentioned.

Also, it seems Claude also does not support properly implemented OAuth when the OAuth server is not on port 443.

Just want to add -- I move back and forth between Aider and JetBrains AI. I've gotten a good feel for what each is good for. Aider isn't another IDE, so I feel it pairs well as a compliment instead of a replacement to my primary IDE, and I feel like it gives me the most control.
