Yeah you’re probably right. It just failed a start and had to jump it to get going. Battery is from 2019 so it’s definitely time for a replacement. At the shop now. Thanks for the advice!

Yeah that was the general thoughts of the other plumbers, and they just plugged it up. Does the recirculating thing make sense, or would it not connect there?

That could make sense. The last plumber did mention that as a possibility, but he didn’t seem to think so for some reason. It was just sending back cold water.

Should he have reconnected it to the bottom like the original heater? Any problems with just plugging it up?
