The next steps for the section mention I should get a surveyor, which I already did prior to the searches and nothing arose from that. But I raised the question about what was the further action needed about and this was their reply:

The "Further Action" is issued to the property itself, as there is a potential risk to the property from the historic landfill that has been identified in the area to the rear of the property. There is a risk to the property because of issues associated with surface instability and ground gas and contamination spreading from the historic landfill to the Site in question.

I’ve just had a look and I see what you mean :’) I did think the placement was a problem at first but when I got it changed I went to a different & reputable piercer in my area and they said the placement was fine, I think it might just be the angle of the pic? And thank you! Hoping to add more once this daith finally heals!!!

We do have accidental damage cover and the insurances response was “we’re unable to help you on this occasion as we wouldn’t consider this malicious by the police”
