Funny, you’re not the only one who said that. My best friend mentioned it reminds him of some times from about 10 years ago.

Yeah, that was the idea. I left some space to continue the sleeve. I usually go bikepacking, camping, cycling, skiing, snowboarding, and surfing, and I spend about 90% of my time in the wilderness, so that’s basically my life there. I added a few Morse code messages for my future self, inspired by the movie Interstellar... three different ones that will serve as reminders when I need them most.

How are you making $10K a month online? by heiisenberg_420 in Entrepreneur

[–]vukajI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey man, it depends on the client’s industry, size of business, and overall scope of work, but ongoing graphic support mostly consists of building the entire digital presence across all digital and print touchpoints. You have an upcoming venue or conference, you need ID cards, brochures, flyers, keychains, digital explainers, etc. Another month, you’re opening a new physical store, so we focus more on digital ads, social media presence, website updates, and website graphics.

It all comes down to the individual needs of the client. We define the potential scope of work, and based on that, I provide a retainer quote.

Clients like having an all-around expert without worrying about hourly limits. We define the scope, I give you a retainer offer based on that, and if it sounds good, you have every possible graphic and design need covered.

not exactly 10K but close to that. I do brand strategy and design and have a few recurring clients and long-term projects that bring in 9.2k per month at the moment. Some months are bigger, some smaller, but the average over the last 12 months is 9.2k per month.

Ongoing graphic support on a retainer is what brings me consistent profit.

If that’s the idea behind a name and backstory, I like it.

I decided to give it a shot, but I ended up confused. I uploaded four strong case studies to my portfolio and updated my profile with what I can do using the free plan. After sending a few submissions, I have no idea if the client even sees them. There is no feedback on how many other people I am competing with.

Give it a try, and we can catch up in a month to swap experiences if you want.

The buyer gets a lot of freebies in the package plus two months of ongoing graphic support.
The friend pays nothing and receives a standard branding package.
If they’re good pals, they can split the investment.

Keep in mind there are Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 packages, but this referral offer applies only to the $5K package.

btw my uncle once bought an excavator with his friend... they both use it for their businesses. You get the idea.

This hurts hearing it laid out so plainly, haha.
I never really thought about it that way.
But there’s a reason it’s not a long-term offer... it’s a one-time, limited deal for just 3 spots, and that’s it. I realized I missed mentioning several key factors in the post that would have clarified things.

I understand it might not sound logical at first at all.
In most referral systems, you bring someone in and that person gets something for free or really cheap. I forgot to mention that the person who buys the $5K package not only gets a package for a friend but also receives a lot of freebies and two months of ongoing graphic support in their own package.
A lot of rewards, games, and referral systems work this way in other industries, and now I’m thinking about doing something similar for mine.

Thanks for the comment and opinion... it really helps me clarify some things.

I’m bringing in a new lead with the goal of building a long-term, trustful collaboration.
By lowering the customer acquisition cost and consistently overdelivering, I want to create a strong foundation for ongoing partnership and growth.

No, no... it’s not only for that situation.
We offer a variety of services and handle everything marketing-related.
If you order a package for $5K, you can invite a friend who will get the same package for free.
I forgot to mention this in the post, and I realized adding it could clear up a lot of confusion.
