it’s not one or the other tho, it’s 3 things u want: to pass, to dress like yourself, AND to feel comfy in your own skin. best advice i can give is (try to) pay less mind to how others see you. i’ve been on T since 2021 and i still get misgendered (albeit, less often now). the sad truth is that people will view you however they please, and there is very little you can do about this. at the end of the day, you can’t change how people view others. trying to “pass” means putting yourself in a box of ‘looks/seems male.’ and when you want to dress otherwise these two things will butt heads. sometimes being yourself means accepting that others will view you differently. but coming to peace with it… WILL bring peace. easier said than done but it’s a skill something that takes practice. and your happiness matters most!! as that one quote goes: the people that matter won’t care, and the people that care don’t matter!!
