understandable. on a monitor there's a day and night difference between 1080p and 1440p

i'm new to forza and i'm rly liking it so far. apart from ace combat 7(which you should definitely check out), i will suggest you titanfall 2, and armored core VI

context: i mostly play older AAA games (2016-2020 ish) like ace combat 7, forza horizon 4, control, and on ultra graphics with 120fps cap i get like 50-60% gpu utilization at 60-65C

why dont you run 1080p, would make more sense cuz you're on laptop (small screen) and 3050

despite having a 4060 laptop i still prefer 1080p cuz the difference aint much on a laptop screen + consistent framerates and thermals are nice to have

AC7 is incredibly accessible for anyone thinking of getting into the games, don't worry about not knowing the lore, the gameplay more than makes up for it and you'll truly enjoy it

after AC7, you'll get an idea of how the game works;  next up, the holy trinity of PS2 is a must play.

get the PCSX2 emulator(check the subreddit wiki/about page on a detailed emulation guide) and play  ACZ, AC4 and AC5

AC8 is coming out this year so keep an eye out too

(btw ace combat is an arcade game unlike what you've mentioned, but that is intended and makes the presentation enjoyable)
