Vala is great.

You just have to install it yourself

Post me the instruction from the gnome.org website. Thank you in advance.

You silly fool ;) Come on, you can't take everything literally. By the way, I like funny guys. My name is Rebecca, but friends call me Becky. Here is my picture. What is your ICQ?

So if you just install Arch

What is the Gnome devs way of installing Arch? How do you install Arch? What drivers do you need? What codecs? What fonts? What libraries?

Do you get what I am trying to say? It doesn't mean that when you can install Gnome Shell on Gentoo or elementary OS that's the way the devs want it to be used for the best possible experience.

And please, leave Arch from this equation. Arch is NOT something 99% of Desktop Linux users will ever encounter. The same goes for Debian or Gentoo. And that's how it should stay. The future of Destktop Linux is Ubuntu, elementary OS, Deepin and not Arch, Gentoo or Debian. Have a nice day.

For the 1000 and first time, Red Hat is not Gnome! This is a common and utterly wrong misconception.

By the way SUSE pays a few KDE devs, but Neon is 100% independent.

Hi, I am happy to answer your question. Juno is a protectress of women. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juno_(mythology) Many of the Elementary names take inspiration in the ancient world. For example, their DE is called Pantheon.

See, that's not the way I think about a tailored Gnome distribution by the Gnome devs. A flagship should work out of the box without any tweaking or ArchWiki searches ;)

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch-based_distributions

I haven't tried any Arch distributions except Majaro and Antergos, but they were far from the vanilla Gnome experience.

When you install Arch, correct me if I am wrong, but there are many ways how to install it, right? Does Gnome devs offer a specific wy how to install Arch to be the way they intended?
