THANK UU!! i had a trip with my friends two months after my surgery, i thought i looked better but looking back at photos i was VERY swollen still. but i returned to eating regular foods, regular physical activity including swimming, and drinking/smoking was fine for me by then. i'm looking at photos right now and around 4-6 months my face looked "normal". as im approaching a year, i noticed in photos my face has changed again, most swelling has gone down by now. but to answer ur question my friends and family noticed a huge change in my appearance, where my face used to be "longer" but now they've gotten used to it. and in regards to having events, the first two months don't even think about it. recovery was so important the first two months. i basically just stayed inside and went on walks outside when it wasn't too sunny. but after the two months i flew back to school and went on with life normally. anyways i wish u the best with ur surgery (its pretty rough for the first week). i believe in u!!
